to the website of Victoria Baths, Manchester's Water Palace and winner of BBC2's Restoration series. Local people have been working ever since the closure of the building in 1993 to save it for public use. Here you can take a tour of the building, learn about its history and find out how to support the campaign to save Victoria Baths.

Visiting Victoria Baths

Come and see Victoria Baths for yourself. Public Open Days in 2008 are on the first Sunday of each month,when the building is open from 12 noon to 4pm. More details The next public Open Day is Sunday 5th October.

We are open on 19th, 20th, 21st and 27th, 28th September from 12 noon to 4pm each day for viewing of STUCK CITIES by Ally Wallace.

We also welcome group bookings at a time and date to suit your group. To book a group visit, ring 0161-224 2020 or email info@victoriabaths.org.uk.

Using Victoria Baths, supporting Victoria Baths

Although it is still in a semi-derelict state, Victoria Baths can provide a unique and fascinating venue for corporate events, as a film location or for arts activities. Email us for our Terms of Use or telephone 0161 224 2020.

Artist in Residence - Ally Wallace

The Victoria Baths Trust have appointed an artist in residence to respond to the completion of Restoration Phase 1. Glasgow based Ally Wallace was chosen from over 50 applicants and is now at work in the building over the summer. Ally is creating a temporary artwork, made of paper, which reflects the building and its ongoing restoration.
