"From A Distance It Seems All Quite Nice"

In association with Mart 99; a month long celebration of visual art made in Manchester hosted in a variety of venues in Manchester city centre throughout October 1999.

Visitors are guided through hotel bedrooms where playful interventions are taking place. The faded splendour of the Victoria Baths provides a point of reference for a series of video projections which creates a parallel space within the hotel: a glamorous and nostalgic surrogate for the Baths themselves.
