Pool Arts

Pool Arts is a network of artists from diverse backgrounds developing studio spaces in the Ardwick and Longsight area of Manchester. they hope eventually to establish permanent studio spaces within the Victoria Baths.

Members are expected to be involved in the development and running of Pool Arts, for example by attending meetings or training sessions or being elected to the management committee. Pool Arts offers the opportunity to develop your artwork and maintains a supportive environment with like-minded people. Some of the artists have experienced mental or emotional distress and Pool Arts aims to maximise well being through artistic impression.

Pool Arts welcomes enquiries from anyone interested in the Pool Arts organisation, in particular those who wish to develop their own artwork and feel that they meet the groups joining criteria:

  • to have a good idea about the direction of your work and what you would like to achieve
  • people who would like to work individually but would benefit from membership to a group
