Dominique Tessier : performance lecture
Once again, local historian Dominique Tessier takes the liberty to "jazz up" Manchester's history.
The lecture will last 45 minutes and will be repeated at 6.30pm and 8pm

Contemporary artists explore physical expression in sub cultures and dance phenomena
Ten days of exhibition, events and participation at Victoria Baths open on Thursday 24th April, 6-9pm, continuing daily 2-6pm (excluding Mondays and Tuesdays) and on Saturday 26th April 2pm-9pm.
This exhibition's references are international; how Manchester and the North connects to the world – exploring through visual and sensual experiences, and demonstrating the appropriation and influence of aspects of the Latin and African American, juxtaposed with local sub cultures.

Admission to the opening night of Un-Rest and the exhibition itself is free. Un-Rest includes two ticketed events on 26th April (Drawn to the Beat) and 3rd May (Recorded Soul - the All-nighter). Tickets for these events available from Eventbrite - see link below.
