A Creative Rusholme project, Portrait of a Street is a collaboration between neighbours Elaine Bishop and Phil Barton who have been interviewing households in their multi-cultural Rusholme street since 2013. Phil has documented their work by taking a photograph of each household in front of their house and will be displaying his images at the Heritage Open Days on 9th and 10th of September in addition to publishing a book aimed at primary schools in association with the Ahamed Iqbal Ullah Education Trust.

Creative Rusholme is a resident led programme to promote the Rusholme neighbourhood as a cultural and community destination. Other projects have included a Rusholme calendar for 2017, a set of postcards and Rusholme Rising creative learning workshops for residents.
