OPEN DAY: Heritage Fair

The Open Day provides a great opportunity to explore Victoria Baths and includes a Heritage Fair and Steam Traction Engines. There will be a range of stalls from local history and heritage groups inside and live steam traction engines outside the building. A full event description can be downloaded below.
PLEASE NOTE our main car park won't be available for this event.
Local choir Artful Voices will sing for us during the afternoon at 1pm and 2.30pm.
Our Tea Room will be serving a selection of refreshments, including sandwiches, cakes and hot and cold drinks.
Our Gift Shop will also be open selling a great variety of items including books and handmade crafts.
The Heritage Fair includes stalls from: Elizabeth Gaskell's House, Manchester Jewish Museum, the Pankhurst Centre, Ancoats Dispensary Trust, Clayton Hall, Stockport Plaza and many more.
The Museum of Transport will attend with two of their vintage buses.
Guided tours will take place as follows (no need to book in advance, buy your tour ticket on the day):
12 noon Discover Victoria Baths
1pm Discover Victoria Baths
2pm Discover Victoria Baths
Discover Victoria Baths shows you the amazing architecture of the building and its history. Hear how the building was used, including memories of its bathers, plus find out about the 2003 BBC Restoration win and how the money was spent. We'll also tell you the plans for the future and how you can get involved.
(Sorry, we are not able to offer an Off Limits tour on this Open Day)
