OPEN DAY: Heritage Fair

The Open Day provides a great opportunity to explore Victoria Baths and includes a Heritage Fair and Steam Traction Engines. There will be a range of stalls from local history and heritage groups inside and live steam traction engines outside the building
Due to the Greater Manchester Marathon on the same day traffic may be heavier in Manchester than normal. For more information on road closures and alternative routes please consult the link HERE.
Local history stalls include information from Pankhurst Centre, Elizabeth Gaskell's House, Museum of Transport, Bolton Museum, Clayton Hall and Wooden Canal Boat Society plus many more.
We will also be joined by Whitfield Light Railway who will be providing railway rides in the car park throughout the Open Day.
PLEASE NOTE our main car park won't be available for this event.
Local choir The Lowry Chorus will sing for us during the afternoon in the Gala Pool.
Our Tea Room will be serving a selection of refreshments, including sandwiches, cakes and hot and cold drinks.
Our Gift Shop will also be open selling a great variety of items including books and handmade crafts.
Guided tours will take place throught the day.
