Part of our Weekend of Words, this evening will see six specially commissioned short stories about Manchester's Water Palace performed against a backdrop of magical projections.

Our established and emerging writers are:

Sarah-Clare Conlon, Victoria Baths inaugural Writer-in-Residence and Salt Prize winner

Kate Feld, co-host of literary podcast The End of All Things and founding director of The Real Story

David Gaffney, Sawn-off Tales writer, working on his third novel and second graphic novel

Phil Olsen, Fiction Editor of Sabotage Reviews

Joe Stretch, whose third novel The Adult won the Somerset Maugham Award

Lara Williams, author of short story collection Treats and novel Supper Club, out in July

Doors and Bar open at 6pm

Weekend of Words kicks off with a concert on Friday evening, continues with Writing Workshops & Poetry Panel on Saturday daytime and continues with more wordy goings-on on Sunday
